Outdoor Facility
In 2010, the MAVS partnered with Glendale Christian Church to improve the land at the church with youth baseball facilities. A single backstop started the dream. Now, the facility features a youth tee-ball/coach pitch field and a 9U through 13U youth field. The fields, dugouts, and turfed batting cages at Glendale Christian Church did not exist 11 years ago. The only thing that existed on the property was a 12-foot tall backstop and a field that consisted of a mixture of weeds, grass, and foundation rock from the construction of the church. A single L screen and wooden mound started the dream!

- We also have sports subscriptions for the television so parents, siblings, and ballplayers can enjoy sports programming while training or waiting.

Indoor Facility
AND A NEW ENTITY IS BORN
The Indoor Facility also led the MAVS to establish its own entity, MAVS of Springfield Baseball Club. Additionally, the Flag that flew over the US Capitol the day of incorporation hangs in the indoor facility along with a framed declaration.
The new entity allows the MAVS to rent the facility and operate. as the MAVS 501 (c) (3) application was approved.
The MAVS are grateful for the years of affiliation under the Glendale Christian Church umbrella. We continue to have an outstanding partnership with Glendale Christian Church and will continue to partner to with them to improve the facility and fields on the church land.
With the establishment of our new entity, we also took steps to communicate our Club’s focus on developing Character and Citizenship.
