To Teach & Develop Life Skills Through The Game of Baseball Creating Ball Players with Character.

MAVS Branding

The MAVS strongly believe in a cohesive Navy, Columbia, and White brand. All MAVS teams are expected and required to wear the same practice gear, uniforms, and gear from ages 7 through summer High School, aged teams.

Prior to Johnny Mac’s being sold to BSN, the MAVS featured a storefront in the brick and mortar location. The MAVS now have partnered with BSN, Rawlings, New Balance, and Decker baseballs for all equipment and uniform needs.  The MAVS take part in the Rawlings Grand Slam program, which provides club members with discount opportunities.

The MAVS annually have spirit wear stores. The MAVS utilize the amazing talents of Hutchins Advertising, a proud partner of the MAVS for consistent branded and designed practice gear and spirit wear. It is not uncommon for our spirit wear stores to generate over 300 items of merchandise purchased.

MAV Partners

Long Ball City – in 2019, the MAVS partnered with Long Ball City and became the first youth baseball organization to feature a Long Ball City logo and brand.

Mavs History

The Classic M

Since 2012, the Classic M has been a mainstay in our uniform identity either on jerseys or on the on-field cap.  The Classic M is worn on our game day caps since 2016.

Monte the Mav

Monte the Mav is the official mascot of the Midwest Mavericks.  Monte was designed by local graphic design artist, John Posey for use by the organization. We are grateful for the talents of John Posey and his support of the Mavs!
The name Monte was chosen from a “Name the Mascot” contest.  The name Monte is a bold name and has the meaning of “coming from the Mountains.” A fitting name here in Ozark Mountain country.  Monte graces our white uniform top and is heavily featured in our Long Ball City tm Brand.

The 4-State Logo

The Mavs recently changed its name from the Springfield Mavericks to Midwest Mavericks. Although a strong brand was built with our Springfield name, the new name better represents the breadth and scope of our roster.  The MAVS have families from over 35 cities as well as players and coaches from 4 different states.
